Can I use this to set up a password protected page inside my Flash website? I'm trying to build one page that requires a password from registered members who want to access private data.

Great!

So let me fully understand this.

A visitor clicks on a button to go to a certain page (inside the .swf )
Your log in panel pops up
The person can either register or log in.
If they are registering...what is the process?
If they are already registered, but have forgotten their password, is an email sent to them with their password? and a link to take them back to the site ? what happens?

All actions are within the application without the need of other windows.

For he is an interaction with php and mysql.

If the User forgets the password will be sent an email with your new password, since the former has no way to reverse the security measures it is encrypted.

The labeling of the "forgot password" area is confusing because the buttons say "cancel" and "reset". I'm assuming I can rename the "reset" to something else... for example "email password"

Also, does the form reset itself to blank once a user has logged in?

What is md5? Is it something I have to buy?

Yes, you can make the adjustments.

Return blank, because it is not seeking the information in the User's machine.

MD5 is a type of encryption. No need to buy because it's native method of php.

Can different users go to their respective page?

That is: User A go to Page A
User Jolley go to: Jolley.html

etc

Should I rename my page to php or it can be html?
